Doing: When I want to improve my ability to exercise a particular skill that I know the basics of, I do it by offering it to a client for a lower cost (while explicitly explaining how much I know about it). This way I learn in a disciplined fashion (not easy to slack if there is a client watching over you) and I get paid to learn 🙂 I am actually quite busy working on this very strategy.
